Updating your payment method and restoring your podcast feed after an expired or failed payment

When your payment method on file expires, is declined, or needs to be updated, your private podcast feed can stop updating until the billing issue is fixed. Find out what to do.

Update your payment method

  1. Go directly to your account page.

  2. Sign in with the email address used for your Steve Dahl Podcast membership. You can choose the emailed sign-in link, which is the default option, or use a password if you have one set. If you do not remember your password, use the password reset link on the sign-in page.

  3. Find the billing or payment section.

  4. Add your new card or update the existing card.

  5. Save the change and confirm your subscription is active.

  6. If your account still says past due, wait a few minutes for the payment update to process and then refresh the page.

Refresh your podcast app or feed

After you've updated your payment method, your podcast app may not begin updating with new episodes right away. Follow the instructions below. Please note, podcast apps and phone platforms are set up differently, so the exact buttons and menu names may vary a little depending on your device and app.

  1. Open the podcast app and go to the show, library, or feed view.

  2. Pull down on the screen to refresh, or tap the app's refresh or sync button if it has one.

  3. Give the app a moment to check for new episodes.

  4. If nothing changes, force quit the app and open it again.

  5. If the feed still does not update, remove the podcast completely and add it again from your podcast feeds page.

  6. Open your podcast app and refresh the Steve Dahl Podcast feed.
