This usually happens when a podcast app keeps playing an older cached download or has not picked up a corrected audio file yet. Removing the stale download and refreshing the private feed usually brings in the corrected version. Here's how to fix it:
Delete the previously downloaded episode
Open the episode list, downloads list, or the specific episode screen from your Podcast player.
Look for a menu, swipe action, or download icon that lets you remove the saved file.
Choose delete download, remove download, or delete episode.
Do not remove the show itself unless you are trying to reconnect the whole feed.
Download the episode again by tapping to play it. You may need to switch tabs to see "All" available episodes if you're not seeing the episode in your current downloads list.
Note: Podcast apps and phone platforms are set up differently, so the exact buttons and menu names may vary a little depending on your device and app.
If the episode was changed or corrected
Sometimes the mistake is on our end during the publishing process and we issue a new version of the episode. A corrected file needs time to reach every podcast app.
After deleting the old download, wait a few minutes and refresh again.
